The interest of man in the sky is rolled up in three different stories- astronomy, astrology origin and the calendar. Soon after 3000 BC, astronomical observations were made in the Mesopotamian civilizations, and the Babylonians of Mesopotamia are regarded as the first great astronomers. The way the constellations moved, along with the sun and the planets, appeared to move in their passage through the heavens.
