Pak choi (Brassica rapa subsp. chinensis) is a GL-rich vegetable. We hypothesize that long contact with light and drought will increase the biomass of, and GL production in, pak choi. The research had been conducted for 6 months. Long light publicity (20 h/day) increased, whilst drought exposure (12 h/week) decreased the plant growth. The flowers confronted with a mixture of drought and lengthy light conditions showed comparable development pattern as control flower
