Set in the charming surroundings of Velletri in the Castelli Romani area, the Diocesan Museum of Velletri is located inside the Cathedral’s cloister. The museum safeguards artworks of extraordinary value, many of which are one-of-a-kind. Its collection includes the renowned Croce Veliterna, an exquisite 11th–12th century reliquary made of gold filigree and enamel, as well as works by renowned artists such as Gentile da Fabriano, Bicci di Lorenzo, Antoniazzo Romano, Rositi, and Francesco da Siena, alongside elegant liturgical garments and furnishings.
