Your pet will be admitted by your Vet or Nurse at your usual surgery on the day of assessment, and if your pet requires a sedation for his or her exam (abdominal ultrasound mainly) then an intravenous cannula will be placed to allow easy and painless sedation.
Patients for abdominal ultrasound will need to be starved for 12 hours before the procedure.
