Travis Kania
Ed served in the United States Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. On June 2, 1951 he married Alice Centala at St. Dominic Catholic Church. At age 57 he retired from MLO – Calcite Plant. Mr. Kania was a member of the 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus, St. Dominic Catholic Church, and a member of Rogers City VF W Post 607. Ed loved spending time with his family, his second love was carpentry. Every Sunday following mass, the day was spent relaxing with family and playing his accordion.
