By dosimetry analysis, IMRT achieved better dose conformity and delivered lower mean doses to heart and ipsilateral lung compared to 3D-CRT. Furthermore, propensity sore and multivariate analysis showed that IMRT technique helped to reduce RT-induced dermatitis and lung toxicity.
