Ceramic vs Porcelain: Which Worktop is Better for a Modern Kitchen?
At first glance, both the materials look pretty similar but the difference comes down with the making process. Both ceramic and porcelain are made from natural clay, but a porcelain kitchen worktop is engineered from a denser natural clay and fired at a much higher temperature. This makes it denser, stronger and nonporous.
