Pipe Fittings Mould
The process of making plastic pipe fittings requires a mould and an injection molding press. The mold is a metal block split at its base, which creates a cavity for the plastic. The mold base has a gate, or opening, that allows the plastic to fill into the cavity. Once the plastic has been injected, the mold closes and the part is removed. Injection molding is an effective process for a variety of plastic pipe fitting applications.
