Two new milbemycin metabolites, 13α-hydroxymilbemycin β13 (1) and 26-methyl-13α-hydroxymilbemycin β13 (2), were isolated from the fermentation broth of a genetically engineered strain Streptomyces avermitilis AVE-H39.
